Easter is one of those holidays where something is necessary but I hate to give everyone candy all the time (hello, Valentine’s Day wasn’t that long ago!) Well, while I was online shopping for some unique Easter decor for my house, I found the amazing, unique selection that is Nordstrom. (Probably way late to discover this but I’m so glad that I did.) I found things on Nordstrom that I’ve never seen anywhere else. And I fell in love with a lot of it. Some things can be pretty pricey but others have GREAT prices (which made it all the more exciting!) Keep reading for some of my great finds!

Easter is a fun holiday to dress the whole family in holiday attire. If you have a baby or toddler, Nordstrom has some crazy cute clothes for the spring holiday. They have clothes for litte’nes that will make you want to capture pictures in when they wake up, at church, during the egg hunt, and all the live long day. The best part is there are some really GREAT prices.
They have jammies for both boys and girls that will make the early morning basket pictures. To go along with that there are great dress up clothes to make the rest of the day. One of the things that I loved as a little girl was dancing around in my fancy holiday dress all day. I only have boys, so it’s a little less fun dressing them up, although I do love looking at their handsome selves all day. 🙂
I don’t wear Easter dresses anymore (or a dress on any holiday for that matter), as I know that I am going to be all over the place, helping with egg hunts, serving dinner and just generally busy. Dresses really make me feel constrained when I’m running around with the kids. I do, however, like to wear something “festive” with a bunny on it or with a witty Easter saying.
My husband isn’t really one to dress up, but if I’m dressing up the rest of the family, he’ll go along with it. He won’t usually wear a bright colored shirt, but he will wear brightly colored socks! I’ll take what I can get 😉
Easter isn’t really a holiday that I normally decorate much for. That’s actually what had put me on this whole Nordstrom journey to begin with. But let me tell you… the Egg Day and spring home decor at Nordstrom is making me what to go all out for Easter! It’s all super cute.
Here’s what I mean:
Am I right?! Those tails on the back of those bunnies… And who can look at that pillow and not rap it? Hee Hee
Easter is a fun holiday. There isn’t the stress of Christmas, spring is (usually) in the air. Gifts are a thing but not so much so that it’s a “break the bank” kind of thing. Nordstrom definitely has some fun gift ideas to match the mood.
Easter Gift Ideas for Her
Gifts for her can be easy. Spring is the perfect time to incorporate some flowered accessories. If a flowers aren’t her thing (to wear) light colors can always be an option as spring is the ideal time to sport some fun bright colors. A fragrance is always a good option too since many women change their “go to” perfume for something more light and airy this time of year.
Easter Gift Ideas for Him
Gifts for him can so
metimes be rough. Fun accessories (like a bunny print tie) can be a good option. A nice watch is great for any occasion. Or something that keeps him comfortable is sure to bring a smile to his face.
Easter Gift Ideas for Kids
While shopping for kids can be easy for this holiday, shopping for them in a way that doesn’t
overload their sugar intake AND doesn’t cross the line of “Christmas gifts” can be a little tougher. I opt to get my kids one gift for easter (usually a bike since they need one anyway and the weather usually calls for it :)) coupled with a traditional basket, albeit a little light on a candy.
